William Web Ellis
From 1750 at Rugby School in England, a game of football was played, there could be any amount of people on the teams. A lot of the players would play so roughly that it would result in massive injuries.
In 1823 as William Webb Ellis ran with the ball when they were playing a football game at Rugby School his friends were just looking at him and thinking to themselves what is he doing? The first rules for Rugby, were written in 1845.
